Contents: Discover alpine snowboarding. Free skiing on the slopes and driving through a run. Learn to snowboard (carve) on the edge.
When: February 14, 2026.
Where: Metschalp near Frutigen
Cost: CHF 10.- (cash please, no change)
Ticket: 24.- (Only by pre-order – collection and payment at the valley station)
Program:
09:00 – Meeting point at the Skilift Höchst-Metsch
09:30 – Welcome & trying on the test material
10:00 – Parallel slalom training or first attempts with the raceboard
11:30 – Lunch break together
12:30 – Snowboard Challenges (skill tasks on the board)
15:15 – Conclusion & farewell

Remark
No special equipment required. Just come with your own board or use the free material provided on site.
The support applies to kids and young people born between 2010 and 2017. Older people are also welcome to take part, but the day does not come with the discounts mentioned.

The event is free, registration is not required. In order to be able to estimate the number of participants, we would welcome a registration.
The organizer reserves the right to change the program or to cancel the event if unforeseen circumstances require. The organizer does not pay the participant any incurred costs (travel, bookings, etc.).
Snowboarding is always associated with an increased risk of accidents. Therefore a considerable degree of self-responsibility and circumspection of the participants as well as compliance with the rules of conduct for alpine winter sports are assumed. A helmet is required for the event.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. The organizer declines all liability (in particular for accidents, damages and theft). Liability, including negligence, is expressly excluded by the organizer.
The film and picture material, which has been produced during the event, depicting participants may be used by the organizer for the Internet appearance, advertising campaigns and event reports or the like without consultation with the affected parties.
